Robert Pattinson Boasting Acting Chops In ‘Remember Me’ Trailer

As ‘New Moon’ releases, Summit Entertainment makes sure your dose of Robert Pattinson doesn’t come to a stop. They’ve released the trailer to the upcoming romance drama ‘Remember Me’ starring Robert Pattinson, Emili De Ravin, Chris Cooper and Pierce Brosnan and will be attached to the New Moon screenings too. And I’m glad to say, Pattinson is human here for once.

Pattinson plays a young man whose brother’s suicide has split up his parents (Brosnan and Olin) and left him sleepwalking through life. De Ravin will play a young woman who, after watching her mother get killed before her eyes, seizes life to its fullest. Cooper is being courted to play her father.
I have to say that I can clearly see some acting chops in Pattinson just in this trailer itself and this movie might prove that he’s to be taken more seriously than a teen hearthrob. However, a couple of shots look almost indistinguishable from the Twilight movies which might put the movie in an identity crisis later on.
The script is told to be much darker material than his previous efforts and features a mind-blowing twist ending. However, Summit opted to change the ending for the film recently, which doesn’t look so good considering they might be trying to tone it down for the tweens once again, which may be a disastrous idea.
